First, LFish is stupid, there is no lead in tattoo ink. Second, it's ok to drink, but just a word of caution: You want to be feeling good when you get tattooed, I can't think of anything more miserable than getting work done while hungover. Get rest tonight, and be sure to eat a couple of hours before your appointment.

Most tattoo artists would refuse to tattoo you if you have had a skin full the night before

Blood is thinned out and the alcohol content remaining in your system may lead to the tattoo not taking well

Have a night off and be the designated driver for a change

Your tattoo will have the benefit as well as your friends

Personally I wouldn't. If you get worried and start sweating you are going to STINK tomorrow. Also, what if you have a really bad hangover and feel like you're going to be sick - probably not the best way to feel while having a tattoo done. Go out tomorrow night for a drink to celebrate your new tattoo.

As long as you dont overdo it and have a hangover tomorrow you'll be fine!
In the UK a tattooist isn't supposed to allow anyone under the influence of Alcohol or drugs of any sort (even painkillers) to be tattooed.
Just make sure you eat before going!

You can have a drink tonight, but you shouldn't get trashed. And definitely don't drink anything tomorrow.

Alcohol thins your blood and makes you bleed more, so you shouldn't drink the day that you get a tattoo or piercing. In additon to being gross, excessive bleeding can actually mess up a tattoo, so it just isn't a good idea.

By all means have a drink, but do it in moderation tonight. If you feel rough in the morning, it will make the process of having the tattoo even worse. And don't be drunk while you're having it done, as that will make you very unwell and shaky, when you're adrenaline kicks in.

have one drink but dont go more than that as alcohol thins the blood and if u drink loads the tattooist will know the second he/she starts tattooing and might decide to reschedule for another day - it happened to my boyfriend...the second there was a bit of blood the tattooist said 'you were out last night huh?' and sed he'd reschedule to another day - but my man begged him not too and was lucky enough to be allowed to come back a couple hours later after a bit of lunch (as it also lowers ure blood sugar levels - which u need up for a shock to the system like atttooing)...
lol, good luck!

Surely most tattoos happen to sailors when they're so drunk they don't know what they're doing? I think it should be fine to go out tonight, can't see how it would make it more painful, if anything if you've still got some in your system would make it less painful.

What a completely mad thing to want to do, just imagine how it will look when you're 40, 50, 60, 70 years old, any way having a drink won't inhibit you from pursuing a bad decision, worst luck.

Yes you can drink but if you smell of drink or have a hangover, or god forbid, are still drunk the tattooist may not tattoo you so just drink in moderation.
