Atheism assumes that evidence for God can't exist based on a prior commitment to empiricism. In otherwords, It's not that evidence for God doesn't exist, it's that it can't exist in an atheist framework. So it is a conclusion based on an assumption, which is really a tautology. Is that good logic?

Also, faith is based on reality. Christians because of evidence, not the lack thereof. Faith is grounded in fact.

Christians preach the death and burial of Jesus as fact and have faith in future.

"Atheists want everyone to be atheists"

That's not entirely true. Atheists are fine with people observing their faith. What they DON'T want is for fairy tales to be taught in school, and illogical laws and bad legislation enacted for no reason other than "it's what Jesus would have wanted".

People are people. I hate the idea that I could be wrong so do the atheists. I do recognize that fact and don't blame them too much for not responding to my claims that spontaneous life is impossible due to a simple scientific principle called chirality. I call chirality the calling card of God since proteins can't build any strings unless the principle is followed. This makes life impossible to accidentally emerge.. Again I don't blame them for ignoring it. It totally destroys their ideas of how life began... Jim

The difference? Truth! Atheism leaves us empty of devoid of purpose and meaning in life. Their "gospel" is as sterile and lifeless as the planet Mars.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the truth that sets us free. There is a major difference!

>Atheists vs Christians any distinction? confident. Duh. otherwise why might he have 2 words for them? And why might they be constantly arguing against one yet another? If there became into no distinction between christians and atheists, then an atheist might desire to be only as probably to argue with yet another atheist as with a christian, yet that needless to say isn't the case. besides, in case you seem up the definitions of 'christian' and 'atheist' you will discover that they are on an identical time unique. >Atheists will criticize some Christians for no longer believing in evolution. mutually as that's on occasion genuine, it is likewise very deceptive. i've got already seen way too quite some this: the place human beings attempt to pin up evolution with the aid of fact the atheist equivalent of God or something like that. as though with the intention to make their arguments artwork, theists might desire to discover an atheist equivalent of God in spite of the actuality that none exists. How stressful is it to understand that atheism is a destructive concept (thought that something does not exist as antagonistic to thought that it DOES), and as nicely that it additionally does not necessitate concept in evolution? >yet then some atheists say they like evidence Jesus lived, even with it being an extraordinarily much hassle-free historic actuality with plenty greater credible evidence than we would desire to assist evolution. mutually because it interior of reason probably that the biblical Jesus is in accordance with a historic man or woman or team of people, that maximum truthfully does no longer mean that the evidence for that's greater effective than the evidence for evolution. all of us who believes this needless to say does not have an understand of only what evidence there is to assist evolution. with the aid of fact enable me inform you, there's a hell of a sizable sort of it.

Well this atheist could care less who else in an atheist

There is no god, prove to me there is one (and before you say prove there isn't one - you don't prove a negative hypothesis)

I can't recall a single war started over atheism

I don't think religion is responsible for the problems of the world. Just some of them

I don't preach, I only share my experiences...

You forgot the most important truth; Christians spend eternity with Jesus in Heaven; Atheists will go to an eternal hell without Christ.
Sad, but true.

Really, there isn't a difference. Except that one person will be right, and one will be wrong.

Unfortunately, it's a neverending story that NO ONE will every find the answer to. Not in this lifetime, or your childrens, or theirs.

So, until then, everyone is going to continue to think they are right.

Interesting thought. The problem is that you assume that all Christians are this way, which is not the case.

I don't want you or anybody else to be anything-why misrepresent the facts about atheism? If you can't be intellectually honest then you shouldn't be asking questions and expecting honest answers.
