Yes. You can buy different sandy textures for paints or you can bye different rollers and sponges to give the paint a textured look.

That would be a brand name.

All that textured stuff is, is ground up Styrofoam.

All paint dealers sell the stuff.

Because the texture tends to settle it is important to mix it real well.

It is also a good idea to let the paint set for a while after you first mix the texture in. (So that it the paint has a chance to soak in to the texture.)

I am a contractor. Most contractors use Sherwin Williams Paint. I found out that Menards store brand paint, Conco is made by and is the same paint Sherwin Williams has in their stores.It is half the price for the same quality. I've used it on new homes for years. I tried the new Behr Paint & Primer. I don't know if I got a bad batch, but it peeled right off of new drywall. I never seen anything like it. It also never dried hard. It came off like a rubberized paint or caulking. I called Behr and they gave me a refund.

It does, but you can get the same effect if you use spackling putty or sheet rock mud and add you paint to it to get the desired texture and color. It is cheaper this way.
