George Michael was a closet gay until he recorded "Let's Go Outside" What about Bowie who pretended to be gay for much of his career.
I guess if Tom Cruise is a closet gay he is trying to protect his career as he knows a lot of bigots who go see his movies will value a hypocritical closet over an honest gay any day.
Everyone in the film industry knew Rock Hudson was gay and quite a tramp but everyone else thought he was the epitome of a handsome rugged straight guy, the studios demanded the cover-up, maybe it's the same nowadays with a "big" property like Tom Cruise.
Then there's Clark Gable maybe not gay but he let guys service him to get parts in his early career, Cary Grant had a live-in relationship with Randolph Scott, there's James Dean, Montgomery Clift and Tab Hunter even Warren Beatty another otherwise straight actor who offered himself to Tennessee Williams, but really there is less excuse for the closet lifestyle these days...
Anyway who cares if Tom Cruise is gay or not the little squirt, I wouldn't go see any of his stupid films either way.
I think the Bible approves of hypocrisy and bigotry doesn't it.

You know, I don't know that I completely agree that Tom is gay, but I'll go with this one. I think for those people who fight against it, refusing to bow to the temptations, that God will say, "Well done." People have bad thoughts all the time, everyone does. I may have bad thoughts about my sister-in-law(wanting to make her life miserable, like she does me), but if I ask for forgiveness for those thoughts and don't act on those thoughts, then I know God will be happy with me.
