When I date a single parent, I tend to watch HOW they parent. If something about her parenting style bothers me (seems neglectful, abusive, etc.) then that would clue me in to not continue the relationship. When I date a parent, I want to see that their CHILD comes FIRST, before our relationship. If the parent isn't putting their kid first, that's a warning signal to me.
Don't tolerate a man who seems irritated when your child needs your attention - no matter when that might happen, or during what activity that might happen. Don't tolerate a man who is mean or rude to your child, or seems to not like your child.

I've dated single Moms and it's okay. I'm not real fond of real young kids likes yours because there usually has to be a baby sitter involved and they sometimes can't be found. Moms with older kids that doesn't need a baby sitter works better for me. But I have friends that have dated Moms with young ones and they do fine. You'll be okay just remember you come with a baby so the decision you make you have to include the baby.

I think the only men who understand what your going through is single parent man, which are extremely rare, but some do have 50/50 custody.
I was a single parent of 2 boys and every single parent mom in town was my friend and wanted to date me and vis-versa because we knew what was up.
single men will have no clue with you esp. if they are that young.

I have no problem dating a single mom and have the utmost respect for them. Not easy being a single mom as there is so much in your life to juggle.

I think is okay to date a single mom. But I don't know how to be a father yet and that is my only fear, but some men are ready and know how. You just have to choose the right one or get lucky. however, dating is fun at time and suck at time. Just don't expect great result at first. we love MILF.

it makes no difference. Just because you have a child, doesn't make you any less of a person. Be a proud parent.
