What type is the best to relieve work related project deadline stress that is starting to tighten up my back muscles? Should I sit in a jacuzzi and sauna before or after I go for this massage? thanks in advance.

A good hour massage usually runs from $50-60 (more in resorts). The best type for relaxation is a Swedish or therapeutic massage. You can go in the jacuzzi either before or after.

About the type of massage... it depends on what your body needs, and what feels good to you.

For tension in the muscles, Shiatsu, or deep tissue massage can be great. However, it will also release toxin build up from the muscle tissue, and if you do not have a very skilled person doing it, it can leave you sore. That would just add to your discomfort.

I think the sauna should come AFTER the massage. The sauna will open up your pores all over your body. The massage will release those toxins and have them circulating in your system. The sauna afterwards is a relaxing way to let your muscles adjust, and it will help you sweat out the toxins.
You should always drink a lot of water after any kind of therapy. But drink good pure water.

No matter what specialty the massage therapist is trained or certified in, you can always tell them exactly what you want. Do not be shy about it. It is there job, and you are paying for it! If you want them to push harder, say so. If it really hurts, tell them and have them work lighter. The massage therapist wants you to enjoy your experience so that you will want to come back again and again. If you simply tell them what you want, they will do their best to give it to you.

About price...it varies by region, 'salon' or facitility, and experience of the massage therapist. However, it should be somewhere in the range of $50- $100 per hour. Anything above that should come with more: meditation room, essential oil massage for aromatherapy, sauna, herbal wrap, etc.

Enjoy and relax!

Massage isa great way to relieve stress! I think if everyone got regular massages, the world would be a happier place:) It may be more beneficial to you to sit in the jacuzzi and sauna prior to your massage because then you will already be more relaxed and the hot water from the jacuzzi and moist heat from the sauna really help your muscles relax and start to untighten. Your massage will be more relaxing to you and more productive as far as loosening and stretching the muscle goes. Have a great massage, I think now I will get one too:)

that could desire to be approximately 4-5 massages for each of you, so i could provide her perhaps 3 for the value of four? i'm a rub down therapist too. Or in case you charge 60, and you're doing 4 you may desire to do it for an excellent $2 hundred. That way you're nonetheless being profitable off of all and sundry and apparently like shes getting a stable deal to her too.

The prices vary according to the type of muscle or muscles that you want to be relieved (released) of stress. Probably between $75.00 and $150. And some charge by time 30min, 60min, etc.
