Disclaimer: I am not a attorney, so if you want legal advice contact a attorney.
1. Call the court to find out if a warrant has been issued for your arrest.
2. If a warrant has been issued for your arrest, contact the city marshall to find out what your options are.
3. Jail credit in Texas is a minimum of $50 a day but is usually higher.
Legally you can contact a attorney to get your best options. This problem won't go away until you contact the court.

Pay the ticket. WHen the Judge ordered you to a fine. That was your sentence. You are now considered to have Failed to Pay. I dont know about Texas, but you are looking at jail time. Get all of your affairs in order and turn yourself in. Since you have more time than money you will be sentenced and that will take care of your fine.

You now have to pay the ticket and the warrant fees. If not you will spend the days in the county lock up until you have satisfied your fine. It is so much per day. I believe in most counties it is 30.00 a day taken off of your total fine.

Ok, if they have a warrnat for you already there is nothing you can do but appear in thier court and post a bond to get out of jail. ( and guess what I bet the bond will be the amouint you owe plus new costs)
But you needed to work out a payment plan with them, so much a week, or month

Get down on your knees and pray to the One True Living God! Prayer changes things! However, God doesn't want you to just come to Him when you're in trouble! Ask Him into your heart and get saved and confess you're a sinner (have to do it for real and not just because of this situation). Then, pray because God knows your heart and what your going through! He knows your circumstances! Be blessed and I'll be praying for you!

They really don't care about your problems. They just want that money. The best you can do is talk to a Judge and not some clerk at the court. Go to the top and tell them about your hardship. Good luck.

Surrender yourself or go to legal aid and have them surrender on your behalf. If you defy a court order to appear you are going to jail.
P.S.surrender on a tuesday never on friday, they don't get to your case till monday
