To amass money is an art very difficult to practise.
Otherwise you can find many people who can earn enough money but are not millionaires.Only few can save try to be one of them.

Alot of times people spend way too much money and fast food and coffee when they are out. One of the ways I found to save is to bring a coffee from home if I am going out, and have various non-perishable snacks in the car so I am less likely to stop at a drive through. As far as clothes u could try some consignment stores, they have designer labels at half the price of department stores. Little things like that can make a big difference. If u buy one coffee a day @ $2, that's $60 per month, so even cutting out something like that saves.

It's good dat u felt d importance of saving.Try this:
1.)Use ur car only for weekends.Use public transport on week days. After all parking is a problem all over d world.

2.)Before buying anything, just ask urself "whether this thing is really woth for this amount?"If ur heart says yes, then only go ahead or else there r many other shops for all kind of stuff.

3.)If u earn or even if u r dependent on ur pocket money,keep minimum 10% of money aside in ur saving A/C n don't try 2 spend it.If u cud increase d amount,it's good 4 u.

Open up an untouchable savings account (ie restrictions on making withdrawals). Then at the BEGINNING of the month, put the amount you want to save into that account and balance the rest with your monthly expenditure. If you stick with this your flow of money will drastically change, but you will save! Save first, pay later.

Also restrict the use of credit cards and unnecessary spending sprees.

Try before you Buy: This goes a long way in helping to avoid the silly purchases of things you rarely or never use. Before you buy something, especially items with big price tags, borrow one, rent one or try one out before you plunk down the cash. If you are bored with it, or determine that it truly is not something you need before you buy it (and you will be on a certain percentage of items) you will definitely be bored with it, or find it not that necessary, after! Example: You feel that you absolutely must have a new Jet-Ski, at a cost of $4500 (and that is before financing and taxes). You go to the lake, rent one, and 45 minutes into a one hour rental you are saying, "geez, this is a long hour." Saved: More than $4500 (perhaps a year of college fees for the kid!)

Throw away the credit cards, open up a separate savings account, quit smoking, catch the public transport sometimes to places and pay car instalments fortnightly... Also get a piggy bank next to your bed so you can drop in coins every now and then. Believe me, it works

Can you do this ?

Ask your tailor to stitch few shirts and pants without pockets.
You may be thinking now, how you will make your daily fixed expenses.
Very simple, keep all notes in hand and make a habit of it.
Positively you will get irritate of this habit and will put lot of pressure on your mind.

I am trying here to say you need to change your habits, thats all !!!

discipline yourself in spending the money you should know better what expense is important than the other...you should seperate your money to savings, expense etc.. the part where you want to save you should keep it in a bank which gives higher interest..
