I wish you had told us what type of dogs you have. Some dogs are better adapt to handle the cold than others. My black lab doesn't mind swimming in ice cold water all day because of his thick double coat. Other dogs barely have a coat and probably get really, really cold fast and need protection.

Ideas:
1) If your dogs don't have a thick coat, I suggest getting them the doggy sweater coats, they have them.
2) put a swinging door on the dog houses, help to keep cold/wind/snow out.
3) put hay and lots and lots of blankets in the dog house.
4) have you thought of getting one big dog house and let them sleep together? They'd generate a lot more body heat together, keep them warmer.

Hope that helps.

Dogs are usually love to be outside so don't feel to bad. If the weather gets really bad, if you have a gargage or a shed then they could always go in there. But is this is not possible then just insulate the dog house, put a swing door on it and put some old blankets in there for the dogs to use.Give them the right food and planty of water. Make sure that the water doesn't freeze over. They need water to survive. And if there is problem then ask some one that will help you or a vet

Get a few bales of straw or hay. Put them in the houses, and the dogs will move it around the way they want it. Don't use old clothing or blankets, because if they become wet and freeze it will make the dogs colder. You could also try nailing up a sheet of plastic to the door of the house, that should help to keep the wind from blowing in.

I also have had to do this. I would suggest putting hay in their dog house to keep them warm. I would also put a flap on the front of their house so that it helps keep the cold air out. Another good thing would be to put their dog houses on top of a wooden pallet so its not on the cold ground. If you had a basement you could put them their on the really cold days. Also a tarp over their cage would keep it dryer and warmer. I hope this helps and good luck with your dogs. Also you could get them a coat or sweater to wear. Best of luck and i hope ive helped you out some.

A) To Tare-- HuH? What? Um...okie,,
B) You don't say why you have to keep em outside or what part of the country you live in. If you are in the south, not that big a deal,,but, if your in the north and keeping dogs outside,,,maybe you should get a heated kennel. Being cold is not comfortable and frost bite can kill animals.
Good Luck

Well, I have 3 dogs outside and they haven't ever got cold enough to show it. I have a Lab, St. Bernard, and a Blue Healer. I put straw in their dog house and around the area that they stay in, and they love the cold weather. You have to realize that dogs bodies are made to be outside. The only thing I recommend is if it is cold out, don't bring the dog in then take it back out, when their body temp. changes quickly, you better bet they will get sick soon. (Our dogs love it when it snows, they sleep out in it!)

You could try to install a light in the dog house, depending on how big it is, and how small the dog is. I have seen people do this before in the winter. You can find something at a home improvement store that you could use to run through the top of the dog house. Something that just uses one light bulb. Just make sure you don't do this if your dog reaches the top of the dog house. You wouldn't want them to get burned! Also, if you don't want to do that, get lots of straw and maybe some blankets to put in there.

1. It is allowed to have guard dogs to protect crops and/or property. 2. Not only left+right shoulder angels, but also enters the angel of the death Azraeel - when it is time to die. 3. There are some dogs stays inside the room, gets up on the bed or anywhere inside the home. Kind of showpiece. Is that hadith applicable for those type of dogs? I am not sure. Anyway, it is better not to have any kind of dogs if possible, be it guard-dog or a showpiece-dog.

The best thing I have found is wheat straw hay. It works better then dog beds they just drag those out and chew them up. The hay is a little messy but they seem to like laying in it.
