I know that the additives in our food go into our tissues and when we die we do not decompose.
I do not think it adds to our obesity, I believe we have become a throw away society ( USA anyhow ) and fast food junkies and when you look at the fat content of all those fast food ( supermarket dinners included ) you will find your answer.
other countries like France which drink wine have lower heart disease, Oriental people with alot of Rice and fiber in their diet have lower colon cancer or non existant colon cancer.

Hi Jacki... you are talking about the use of Steroids to make animals larger , and grow quicker and the Obesity rate of humans consuming these as food......
Your answer is Yes there have been studies on this.. and as a result the government food and health experts are still studing the effects of this on the young children in America and Obesity..
If you will notice in the last few years there has been quite a lot of attention to obese children,, growing up eating fast food.. such as McDonalds and such.... As a result there has been a stirr in the resturante business to cut down on trans fats and such... as a definate health risk to humans.....
Good question for you !!!!
Good luck

I would think yes. The drug is given to the animal which eventually travels to the muscle. If you eat this animal you are also taking in the drug the animal was given. Like someone else said...there have been studies for this.

That is an extremely interesting conspiracy theroy.
It's possible that some products that contain salt make you want to eat more of them, however the chemicals they put in animal food for cattle is merely to make them fat. However i do not know exactly if it enhances the effect of food obsorb or just makes cattle want to eat more.

The fact is people in the west eat too much. The only reason a person is fat is that they consume more calories than they expend in physical activity. If you want to avoid becoming fat eat a balanced healthy diet .

Boy that is a good question. One of the reasons we have limited our families meat intake to once a month is because of the junk fed to the animals and then we try to find organic meat.
You may find this interesting.

Not only in humans but you should see the size of my chihuahua......he has been raised on nothing but boiled chicken and no one believes he is a full-blooded chihuahua. His mother and father are both champion bred weighing 5lbs (mother) and 4lbs (father). My dog (their son) weighs 15 lbs
