What i did with my cat when she peed all over the house was, just what you do with a dog. I put her nose in it, and hit her butt.... not hard just enough to know that she shouldnt do that!! Then i bought a product called ZERO ODOR you can order it off of amazon.com... it cleared up that smell!! SHe stoped peeing too, because she didnt like the smell on her nose!!

First off do you keep the litter clean. Some cats will not use a dirty litter box. If the box is clean. My suggestion would be to do what i did. I confined my cat to a room with no carpet. Then if she pee pee on my tile i would take her and put her in her cage with the litter box for a while till she got used to the box. Then i would let her out. Everytime she did it i would put her in her cage and sit her in litter box. believe it or not she now uses the litter box. you have to train them to do what you want. you are the owner. good luck. just be patient and it will work out. dont get rid of your cat. just work with the cat.

Teach it not pee on the carpet by putting him the kitty litter every once in a while. Then, your kitty will soon get used to the kitty littrt. Then, he won't pee on your carpet!

The problem is once that smell gets into the carpet, you can scrub and clean and disinfect, but there will always be a "message" that it is OK to do this. Your carpet may be ruined

Well, first of all make sure the litter box is clean, otherwise your cat may not want to use it. Then put the cats nose in the urine, and put it in the litterbox. That's what I did to my cat... Also, don't move the litterbox around or they may not want to use it.

the litter box maybe dirty and needs to be cleaned out or she may not like the litter that you are buying. when my litter box is not cleaned out my cats do the samething. that is a way they are saying mommy, clean the litter box out for me. as soon as they see be getting the new litter out, they know mommy is going to clean it out and they watch me. mother of two female cats
