advocating we do these things. They are historical accounts of what people did. In the Bible, God is showing us what NOT to do as much as what to do.

Exactly. This is the same thing that goes on in our lives when we make negative choices. Religion pretends that it is sin and that we are bad. This is just nonsense. It is only Gods way of teaching us what not to do.

God has not intention of judging us for learning our lessons in the way He always intended.

When someone justifies in their own mind that there is no God, they give themselves permission to do sinful things.

Because they don't want to understand. They want to remain the "gods" of their own lives and they are on a desparate search to find every argument they can muster to deny their Creator.

Isaiah 5:18 Woe to those who draw iniquity with cords of falsehood, who draw sin as with cart ropes, 19 who say: "Let him be quick, let him speed his work that we may see it; let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw near, and let it come, that we may know it!" 20 Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! 21 Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and shrewd in their own sight!

Isaiah 55:6 "Seek the LORD while he may be found; call upon him while he is near; 7 let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the LORD, that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. 8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.
