espanya viva is a good way to start - the old BBC prog. Get a copy of Vaya Nuevo 2 and the relevant tapes, and just go through the stuff. I used it to teach GCSE to pupils in one year.

to learn spanish as any other language U need to have contact with speakers, in this case mexicans, spanish.
I´m from Mexico and when I chat with english people I really learn a lot.
