This love will just like the love between you and your father, because he (only) gave birth to you. Whereas the love towards God is far much different from the one between human. God is our creator, without this creation, your father, you and me don't even exist. Besides , God had provided all the necessities for our everyday life. What happen if God doesn't provide oxygen in the air? Can you feel God's benevolence now?

We love God and others because He first loves us (1 John 4:19). In the New Covenant our love for God is in response to and empowered by God's love for us. This is the grace of God. The Old Covenant commandment to love the Lord your God with all your mind, heart, soul and strength applies during the time of salvation by works. We by grace love God from a position of rest in Him.

I love God because He has truly saved me from myself. About 10 years ago, I was struggling and had no love in my life. Once I gave my life to Him, my life was so much better. Everyday is a blessing now. Sure, I have bad days still, but I feel God's protection and love, something I didn't have before (although it was always there, I didn't know it nor feel it!)

I love God because he has provided me with a family, clothes and food. I have been on this planet for 21 years now, and yes I have experienced difficulties in my life, but he has always helped me deal with it.

Because he first loved us, me, by creating humans to live wonderfully well in the earth and making a provision (allowing his son to die on our behalf to save us from sin and death) for his will to be fulfilled after our first parents lost the privilege for us to live happily.

For one, he sacrificed everything just to save me, save all of us. That should be enough for anyone. But, on top of that, he has saved me and promised a home for me in heaven. I love him because he is awesome and powerful and loving and forgiving. Why don't you love him? If you don't already.

because HE first loved us by coming to the sinned world and died on the Cross to become sacrifice for my salvation so I will be free the time I have to face the judgement day.

Becuz he accepts me as I am with all faults. Unconditional love! It took me a long time to realize He loves me as I am.
