Yes, and those are the tenents that I follow. If one reads the 2 1/2 chapters of the Sermon on the Mount, that pretty much tells you all you need to know. However, many Christians completely ignore the simple truth of Jesus, a true liberal in his day, to adopt the more extreme passages of Paul and Moses, in order to support a stance that is reflective of their own intolerance. Jesus loved everyone, was anti-establishment because he saw how oppressing the Roman Empire was, and he surrounded himself with those who needed him most, not the Pharisees (Baptists of the day) that were self-righteous.

Not every problem. Certainly some of the stuff he said, particularly relating to the Golden Rule, was pretty good and it'd be a better world if people followed his advice. But there is nothing Jesus said that hadn't been said before, and as a moral code Christianity is pretty out of date.

I believe in the message of jesus to love and be loved and treat others kindly, but not in the church. They abused the word Christian and Jesus' name.

If we act in love towards one another there will not be any problems in the first place. Problems arise because people do not act in the way God has created them which is to love.

love alone is not the answer, we need a divine law to stay peaceful in this world, we need divine guidance in every chores that we do.
Islam gives the complete set of divine law and guidance, from the Al-Qur'an and the wisdom of the prophet s.a.w.

They were.
Now we need to learn about His new explanation concerning the selfless love and His new plan to lead man to all truth as He promised in His first advent.
If we failed to recognize Him in this second advent, we would sorely suffer like the Jews in the past.

There are no teachings of Jesus. The guy never wrote anything. All that was attributed to him was written decades after his death.
And the teachings attributed to him are a mixed bag.
