I know someone who ate Subway everyday for a few months. She ended up losing like 15 lbs. You just have to make sure it's a healthy sub. Don't have them load it with all the extras.

You can make your own healthy salads and sandwiches at home which probably have less calories than a Subway sandwich, and you won't be spending a buttload.
The aim of the subway diet is everything in moderation. You put in less calories, put out more calories through excercise, and the weight comes off! Try making some lush salads with 8 olives, some beetroot and carrot, lean chicken breast slices and a little low calorie dressing.
Or a nice sandwich with the same ingredients on wholegrain bread.
Keep the over-processed white breads out, and bread is actually great for you. Don't believe all the crap people spout about it. Anyway, there's a million low fat recipes for lovely salads and sandwiches you can have that are low calorie. Do moderate excercise at least 4 times a week and the pounds will melt off, without blowing a hole in your bank account on subway.

Hello,
I have the Subway nutritional guide and I eat there quite often. If you look at the calorie count - most of the 6 " sandwiches are anywhere from 300-500 calories and could easily fit into any weight loss program.
I'm 5'7 late 30's and I aim for around 1700 calories a day.
So yes if you ate there for lunch and dinner and ate a 400 calorie sandwich and an apple that would be fine.
Of course I always found it's not so much the meals that I have a problem with - it's all the snacks in between.
Good Luck

if people would exercise more they would not have to worry so darn much about food...Are you really serious about doing this? We are talking about hard work. Putting down your little debbies, getting off your butt and not only going on a diet but EXERCISING!!! Even if you lose the weight it will come right back if you do not have the desire and motivation to not only look cute but to be healthy. it is going to take alot of inner strength I can assure you of that.
1.) eat 4-5 small meals a day
2.) drink lots of water
3.)exercise every day
4.) do not eat 4-6 hours before you sleep.
Good luck. I mean it. You may be saving your life. I saved mine.

I think a lot of Jared's weightloss was due to the fact that he walked back and forth to Subway twice a day, and I think it was at least a mile to the store. Just start walking 4-5 miles a day, and eating healthier - you don't need to eat the subs to do it.
