The priests and pastors see all the people who come to their churches as little children who believe in the Santa story but this time it's the Jesus story, they want to keep them believing too because it pays their wages.

personally, I think we never grow up ourselves and our disappointment gets reflected on the weakest and most influential in society. That or we are miserable hypocrites...
