You said you are in love with her is she in love with you too? How does she treat you like a brother or just some distant relative is another question which you can ask youself. I think it is only in Muslim, Zorastrian or a Parsee community you can marry your far off cousins.
It is best not to marry in family cause it is proved that genetically the baby born is not very healthy and has problems. So better be safe than sorry friend. You can always find someone else. Life goes on so kind of avoid this kind of jumbling of families.
