Hell is a ridiculous fabrication created by man for control of man.
( Do as we say, or else. )
No sane, loving God from any religion would ever create a system so retarded.

There is nothing wrong with your beliefs. Unitarian Universalism and Universalism share the same belief.
No, is it unjust, perhaps. Immoral? Well, many world gospels speak of a hell or some form of damnation. If morality is based in such roots, then how is it immoral?
We may very well need to break away from the conventional language to discuss this topic.

Is it righteous? Let's see infinite punishment for a finite crime.Sounds like you have considered this pretty well. If Hell is grave or pit or death then it would seem that he who gave life could righteously require it.Now we understand from Revelation that hell is cast into the lake of fire. But it begs the question can flesh burn forever? Well the Bible does tech that the torment is everlasting but is this torment the torment of the fire?Could it be the torment of unfulfilled lust? The Bible also describes this as burning. Could the torment be separation from God?Now if this be the case wouldn't the torment part no longer be God's torture but our own suffering as a result of our actions? There is definitely more to Hell and the lake of fire than we can fully understand at the present time. The one thing I know for a fact is that God is righteous and We have a limited understanding of righteousness.

Once you believe in a god, the supernatural or whatever, you open yourself to all the unfounded beliefs that come with that territory. You have to suspend your own common-sense and follow what ever religion you accept as valid, or make one up to your liking. My values of "Justice" or "injustice", "moral" or "immoral" are founded on doing on to others as you would have them do on to you. A concept with religious connotations but also one with a lot of common sense to it. If we all practiced it, it would produce a more peaceful world for everyone. And that's all I'm concerned with, or think that is humanly possible. Yet even that's not perfect since mankind is imperfect. Finally, don't worry about the "here-after" there's enough crap on earth to fill your time.

You are totally correct. No where in the bible does it say God will torment anyone forever. Revelations says that when the beast and the false prophet are thrown into the lake of fire, the SMOKE of their torment will rise forever. I think someone way back along time ago mistranslated that to be that they would be tormented forever and therefore hell would be an eternal torment. I am a born again Christian and my church may not even agree with me, I don't know, but I truly believe that when we haven't accepted Christ as our saviour and we die, we just cease to exist any more. The reward for receiving him is eternal life, so doesn't it make sense that the punishment for not receiving him would be death? You're right. God doesn't torture people.

Your question is not a question. There is something immoral about a person who owns a computer but doesn't know the difference between a question and a statement. However, you are right. I think that the concept of hell was invented to try to keep people from doing bad things. Hasn't worked yet, has it?

Your misdeeds may be finite, but they have been commited against an infinite God. The Bible says that the wages of sin is death, and that is not just physical death but also eternal seperation from the giver of Life, God, because that which is holy and sinless cannot dwell with that which is unholy and sinful. Thats why we have salvation through Jesus Christ, he paid our debt, he died, so that we don't have to, and so that we can be clothed in His righteousness to be in communion with a holy God.

The bible mentions the "trials and tribulations" of hell.
So, by definition, life is hell.
The fire and brimstone and devil and pitchforks were added to the bible in the middle ages to control the population and force non-believers to convert.
Hell is propaganda, pure and simple. After the struggles I have faced in my life it is the ultimate injustice to believe that I get to go to hell for eternity too.
But on a good note, the bible also says, "ask, and ye shall be forgiven", so hey, I'm sorry!
According to the good ole Bible, even Jeffrey Dahlmer was given entrance into heaven if his last words on this earth were, "I'm sorry!"

The words of Jesus Christ on the subject of the lake of hearth in Matthew 25 and in Revelation are actually not the "non secular thought" you're making it out to be. you're intentionally misleading. And your reason is one in all hate, immorality and injustice.

To bad you are not God then you could do what you like, until then we have to go with the real God and He doesn't feel the same way you do, so there is a hell. But He does offer you an escape from it, if you will believe in Him.
