This Is The First I've Heard Of El Cenizo, Texas
And It's "Official" Policy Of NO ENGLISH In Their Town

I as many Americans a'm sick of hearing how the southwest is still there land, you lost that war, so get over it. The Mexicans show us every day how much they do not want to be part of America. They get on tv with this in your face thing like, we are here, we are staying here, and you can not do anything about it. They show no respect for our laws, calling them out dated, and silly. They want us to learn spanish. If citys and states pass laws making english the offical language, then we are raceist. They march in our streets, waving the flag of Mexico. If we ask them, why not stay in Mexico, and fight to make it better, they come back with, oh that can not be done. They get on tv, and tell us that they will take this country back. So you see they will never call them selves Americans.

I would have to say No, I am sure there are some that do though, but the majority could care less about assimilation.
Personally I think ICE should go in there and clear the place out.

Let's have the US/Mexico border fence built, immigration law enforced nationwide, and have done with it. Send Bush and his oil company globalists packing, and actually have the laws enforced as they stand on the books today. Put a stop to their 'togetherness' agenda crap...by voting for city and state measures that'll put the brakes on millions of illegal aliens being permitted to move into the United States en masse. We have immigration laws for a reason, and they should be enforced.

These ILLEGAL alien southern border crossers need to learn english and quit talking in spanish, and also, these companies (utility companies, walmart, etc..) need to quit printing stuff in spanish. If they are going to print stuff in spanish, i think they should print it also in every other dam language there is. You think the vietnamese people etc would be offended but no, you know why, because they speak english.

These illegal alien southern border crossers need to learn ENGLISH like the rest of the immigrants do!

What amazed me most is that New York and LA forbid city employees from reporting illegal immigrants to the INS! Is pandering to minorities really more important than the rule of law?

I believe that history provides the best explanation for your question. We, Americans, tend to forget that the American Southwest once belonged to Mexico. And, regardless of anyones opinion of whether America's annexation of the Southwest was morally just, we must remember what happened after the acquisition of these territories. At the time of the Mexican-American War the frontier lands of Mexico were predominately populated by Mexicans (excluding Texas). However, the Mexican/Spanish culture in these areas was widespread. Also, Mexican citizens were granted protection under U.S. law after their lands were cede to the U.S. government. Some areas even retained the right to make Spanish an official language of the state. I know I have not included citations, but you can refer to an academically approved history book and check all this out for yourself. But I digress...

The point is that Mexicans have been in these lands for hundreds of years. If you look at the history of the American Southwest then you will also see that there is a long history of people also moving between the areas of the Mexican-U.S. border in search of seasonal work. Also, we must remember that some Americans also stole many Mexicans land after the MA War. Their land was stolen by force, and legal action was avoided by mandating that Mexicans had to present a title of land ownership in order to keep their land. Otherwise it would be sold by the state.

I could keep going, but I think the point is clear. Mexican-Americans should be allowed to speak spanish or make spanish the official language of their town/city/etc. If they so choose. I believe that this is not straying away from the principles on which America was supposedly founded either. America is a country that was constituted by immigrants. I believe that one town, which is probably predominately Hispanic anyways, wants to change its official language then they should be able to do so. Either that or not allow any official language. Perhaps the language of the land should reflect the population.

The real problem here lies in the history. Some people are'nt aware of the history, while others live in it. When the divide to those two sides are gapped then the nation will truly be able to heal itself.

ALL immigrants, regardless of the country of origin, should speak English or get the hell out! I am tired of calling U.S. Government office and getting press 1 for English.

Ever one of them should be put out of the U.S.A. dont have far to go to do it and it would show the rest of the illegals that we are serious about it. I wish that everone could see what I do. I travel all over the U.S. and see what they are doing to our country.
If I am a racist because I am an American, then so be it.
Americans need to send this message loud and clear.....
GET OUT OF OUR COUNTRY!
