I think that we all know how much the impact of media on people's opinions and thoughts but i didnt realize how big and tricky it is really. Many times i got surprised and even shocked of alot of people's questions and answers here which are full of incorrect and misunderstanding things about Islam and Muslims -as a Muslim-.

I realized that the media is full of covered racisists and hypocrites people showing only the side of picture they want if its really existed on the first place.and they really make me sick when they describe themselves or when they cover their actions on the name of neutralization, unprejudiced and freedom but actually they blow their poisons on most of the facts and unfortunatelly mislead alot of people.
P.S. i dont generalize and i dont put the full blame ofcourse.

The best way to understand the media is to understand where your news source falls with regard to the issues in question. If you truly want an open opinion avoid the right or left. Choose an independent news source and always remember they side with the masses because of advertising. The same can be said about anti-American news agencies in the middle east. The poison is hatred and deception.

Not really. Many media items is just to suit a particular favorite faction, as you've mentioned. So not everything i read in the media that is the real truth of the matter.

Many years ago there was a program on Public Television (they only aired it once) about news reporting. Leading News Anchorman were interviewed. The said that before they go on the air they're told, "Here's what you're going to tell them tonight". I call them Paid Liars.

Depends on the media outlet. European media is a lot less biased than American media (by law), although CNN is quite good.
Al-Jazeera is the most ridiculous thing I've seen since watching the Chinese State News channel.
