You can't. Unfortunately war is part of the human condition. Wars are fought for 2 basic reasons.
1) Ideology (political, religious)
2) Resources
It is impossible to remove ideology from society and there will always be fanatics and tyrants in the world. In the case of resources some countries will always be perceived as having more and others less. Those who have less will strive to gain what the opponent possesses. The honest fact is that we have trouble just getting along with our neighbors, when you apply this on a global scale the problem is almost insurmountable. Wars have been occurring since the beginning of time and I fear will continue until the end of time.

One idea would be to get the US to stop getting involved with every little spat or problem. The world could dodge a few un-necessary wars that way.

You could try killing off all the people in the world and, barring any genetic mutation that would cause animals to become supersmart and able to use tools, there wouldnt be anymore war.

Herd all the homo-sapiens on the planet into one large area, give each one a gallon of tequila with a straight razor taped to it, then seal up the area. When there is only one person left alive arrest him for mass murder...

Piece of cake really,
1. Ensure everybody has equal wealth (can't fight over cash)
2. Ensure everybody has equal access to resources (can't fight over oil, etc)
3. Ensure everybody has an equal amount of productive land (no territory wars)
4. Ensure everybody is atheist (no sectarian wars)
or.....................
find a civilisation on another planet that we can have a war with instead.
