GM school is 10 weeks.

and it depends on what you think is "hard" and if you get low on any parts of the ASVAB you can always retake parts or all of it at your first unit. if you have any question on anything just email me. :)

My brother, 12 year GM vet from the navy...Pac-fleet AR-7 USS Hector...He told me it took about 10 weeks to complete his training for his MoS., and another 8 weeks training for ordinance/munitions.
He was petty officer 3rd class at the end of his 2nd term. I got a chance to see some of the stuff he did at Pearl, and San Diego....we fired off 50cal's, 20mm AAA, and 4 inch deck canons...all day long on one occasion.....he had a very cool job and he loved it. Of course dont bump into a ship captain, make him fall and break his ankle like I did. Omg, he still rants on and on about it to my brother...years later.
