We have been going out for 2 weeks, he doesnt like sport, is a bit of a computer nerd, the thing is he is wanting to buy me jewellery and i would feel mean if i didnt get him something just as good!

You could get him a voucher for PC world or your local PC shop. That way he can get what ever he wants.

A new computer game! Check out what kind of computer games he likes and but him one that he would really like. If you are not sure about the new good computer games ask here in the yahoo and i am sure many people will answer to you. For example i bought my boyfriend the new Lara Croft but it depends on what he likes to play.
Also a mouse for his PC in the shape of a car, so that when he moves it the lights of the car switch on! I have found some of these in WHSmith.
Another thing for his computer would be a webcam. You can find some that don't cost a lot.

He shouldn't be giving to receive something back, I would only get something small for Xmas for someone I'd only been with two weeks. You can make up for it on his next birthday or next Christmas if you are still together. How do you know that this jewellery he's gonna get you will be expensive? It might come from Argos!

maybe a computer game, the sims is always popular. a digital camera if he doesnt have one. try and go to a bestbuy, comp usa, or circuit city & look at the computer sections to see what they have and ask around for some help there with the associates. you shouldnt walk out empty handed!

Buy him something that is not too much expensive. The reason is that it is too soon to buy him an expensive one. You said he is a computery nerd, so why don't you buy him something from a PC store, such as a game or something like that. Does he have a car? If yes buy him something for it but please make sure that it is not expensive.

go to ticket master and see what concert tickets are on sale that you think he may enjoy....then get 2, one for him and you....it will become a special date.
