liars do a lot of damage in small quantities

murderers do it all in one go

same sh*t if u ask me

notice I said liars? these are people who take up lying as a habit.

edit: liars have wrecked families...given wrong testimony that sent people to the electric chair..theyve caused wars! and all because: everybody lies...lies are just too small.

In the last month or so someone probably lied to me. I don't feel any worse than I did before they lied to me. In the last month or so no one has murdered me. If they did I feel certain the experience would be much more unpleasant than being lied to. Due to the negative intensity of being murdered it is more unacceptable to be a murderer than a liar. I rest my case. If you had the choice would you rather be murdered or have someone tell you a lie?

Why are we able to tolerate a liar more than a murder? ( the theme song to jeporady plays )

I guess we all are liars -- in our own ways. Not one person is 100% honest all of the time - Even something as woman wearing heels or alters things in their bodies and image to delude people to seeing something that isn't natural is considered in the eyes of God as misleading and wrong -- A lie.

Lies and deciet are everywhere!!

A murderer ( and assuming an intentional bad ass with no regard for human life unless he was just protecting himself/herself ) has shown character weakness by violent aggression. Proving itself to have lost reasoning and ignoring his or her good conscience. Being tempermental lacking self control and acting out in extreme anger and rage -- pretty scary --- and unacceptable. He or she is a menace to society if you get on his or her bad side really bad then its adios amigo --

We are called to be civil at least to bear conscience and try to rationalize and work out our difference and find solutions to problems instead of acting out in rage. Murder is the worst crime to commit -- although in God's eye sin is sin no matter how big, great, or small --
whether it be your a liar or a murderer.

a murderer kills a person, a liar hurts with lies , forgiving someone that lies is hard, but how can you forgive someone who has taken a life . you will never see the person that has died at the hands of a murdered or be able to talk to them ..but a liar has taken truth away and truth can be restored

It depends on A: what the person lied about
B: what the person who murdered did it for

as a general rule the liar will be easy just don't believe a word they say

Lying is a necessary fact of life. Anybody that says they have
not lied, is a liar. How many people have you murdered ?

We always talk about rights but when a person's rights cross over another person's rights there has to be some guidlines. Murder most of the time violates anothers person''s rights more than lying does and so we deal with it much harder. Lying can destroy a person's life also, but it is much harder to judge than murder because the damage is hidden and internal. That is why we need to leave judgment for the most part to God, because He sees the motives and intentionsof the heart, and the total picture. In the end everyone will be judged accurately and receive their due reward.
Romans 2:5 "But because of your stubbornness and unrepentant heart you are storing up wrath for yourself in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, 6 who WILL RENDER TO EACH PERSON ACCORDING TO HIS DEEDS: 7 to those who by perseverance in doing good seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life; 8 but to those who are selfishly ambitious and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, wrath and indignation."

Liar kills one's feelings, whereas murderer makes one 'no more'. Liar can be corrected some day.
