Went to the 80's Madness in Butlin's Minehead and had a blast!! It was a girlie weekend-24 of us-and we did 'theme nights'. Matching t-shirts with nicknames on the back (cut up in 80's style-shredded sleeves,shirt hems,cut a heart shape out across the chest,etc.),then the next night we dressed as schoolgirls and passed out lollipops to all the goodlooking blokes. It took us a few days to recover from the weekend though!!

I went to butlins skegness on hols IN the 80's.
It was sh!t then and probably sh!tter now. At least back then the old equivalent of 'chavs' still had a little self respect and only the fathers were alcoholics.

Oh dear you poor thing!! Is it too late to chnage your destination? I would if I were you. Skeg is the toilet of Britain full of girls with yo-yo knickers and guys that will sleep with anything! Your more than likley to come back with an STD than anything else!!

Yea Ive been went with about 10 mates, we had a right laugh, got hammered everynight, and most of us scored everynight as well. Your have a nice time.

It is a hoot and once a year and I think it is next weekend they have a rave! It is still very 80's and a wee bit grotty.

OMG!!!! avoid Skeg at all costs! its dire! i only live half an hour away, but would NEVER even think of going to stay there!!! ARGHHHHHHH!
