I am an amteur Wildlife and Nature photographer that has a large and varied range of images that i might be interested in selling.
Does anyone know of a place or the best place to send some of my pics to see if they are good enough.
I have had a picture of a snake published in the BBC Wildlife Magazine and also have a picture reprisenting June in a BBC Calendar, both pics were amateur so there was no money involved and i was wondering what my next step is for turning Pro.

Any answers will be helpful.

Check out www.pbase.com and check the popular galleries to see how your's compare. Buy some online space and post them.
I have sold several from my site on pbase, just be sure to list your prices and email address. I sell archival 8x10's for $30.00
that seems to be the going rate. Depending on file size you should be able to get more for larger prints if the quality is there.
Good Luck !!!

There are many agencies that sell stock photos.
In order to make a living at it, you have to have a LOT of images. Or images that are unique in some way and thus desirable because they are different.
I believe they also have to be sizable files.
Google stock image photography and you should get oodles of hits,
Good luck!

It gladdens being a professional. It attracts and It's impressing.Consequently, noting goes for something. After achievement ,then you can be generous
but i believe earning something comes first before dashing out for free.
