Hey guys,

So I have an idea for a tattoo. I was thinking about getting a cross in the center of my back, more towards the top of it. Inside the cross I want to put the portrait of the Last Supper. Sound like a good idea? And if you are not religious, you can still appreciate the art work. Thanks everyone. More answers the better.

it sounds like an awesome tattoo, but in order for the last supper to be detailed like it should be, the tattoo would have to take up your whole back. think about it, each face would need to be about 1 1/2 times bigger than a quarter. that's thirteen quarters spaced apart. a back piece is a huge commitment. so think about it long and hard, but that does sound like a sweeeeet tattoo.
also please research your artists well. make sure you go to someone who is competent and able to copy a painting. remember, all tattooers are not artists and all tattooers are not able to pull of realistic people tattoos or able to copy an existing piece of art and translate it beautifully on the skin. look at many portfolios before making your decision.

it alright i guess. Im not a fan of big tattoos. I like them small in quantity and size, discreet or coverable and cute. I actually want a music symbol behind my ear(like Brooke Holgan) or above my butt/lower back. I don't have any now and I only want one and a belly botton ring.

Sounds cool, but extremely complicated.

Have you checked out religioustattoos.net? my fiancee's cross is featured on there (it's the purple stained-glass looking cross with a green snake around it)

In my personal opinion, I think it would be one of the coolest tatoos ever.....it says something in the Old Testament about not putting markings (tatoos) on the body, but you know, I believe the artwork is what counts..and the Last Supper inside a Cross portrait of a tatoo would certainly "please God.."....and I AM spiritual...very spiritual....I have a deep and personal relatonship with God and it came about from him bringing me from a deep hell hole (drug addiction).....and I am very open minded of what we know as God....so...yeah, that tatoo would be cool in my opinion.....just concentrate on what God actually tells YOU, though man...really....he won't lead you wrong....Blessed be!

Sounds elaborate but with a very good artist it should look good. Did I say "Miami Ink"?
