I had an '06 Toyota Sienna and it was a very nice van, my sister-in-law had an '06 Honda Odyssey and that was a nice van also. I think the Sienna seemed roomier, but the Honda seemed plusher in ride and interior. If you have kids, they'll tear up any interior or at least spill drinks and food in every nook and cranny. The gas mileage was around 25 mixed driving and very quiet and powerful engine. The only problem was the van hydroplaned with the dunlop tires that came from the factory. I believe the next minivan we'll get will either be an AWD Sienna or a Kia Sedona. I have a 2004 Kia Optima with almost 80,000 miles and totally reliable. A lot of people tend to say bad things about Kia, but I'm a customer for life! The same went for Toyota, until they started charging too much and I took a chance on the Kia. When we went van shopping the Chrysler was too expensive with the options list ticked even just a little. The Honda was too expensive and the dealer did not seem helpful. The Kia was an older body style back in '06, so decided to go with Toyota. The Mazda seemed too small and the Nissan too odd looking.

Kia cars originate in South Korea.
In the past, these cars have been considered cheap and nasty, but the latest models are much improved.
I would suggest that South Korean cars, alongside others from the Pacific Rim, are at the same stage as the Japanese were about 15 years ago.
I think they will present serious competition to European and American marques is the not to distant future.
