i have this taste too. its been there almost a week now it seems to be coming from the back of my throat. when i blow my nose i keep getting a little bit of blood and stuff from one side and i think i might have an infection and its making a weird taste in my mouth. mayb u have this too

Sounds like post-nasal drip. Try sucking a couple of altoids they are strong enough to burn all that junk off your throat. You could also try an antihistamine to dry up your sinuses....sudafed in the morning is good (dont take it at night it will keep you awake).

You don't say how long you have been experiencing this,and I don't know if you are male or female. This problem can occur in females during ovulation and menstruation. I have no idea why, but it does and it goes away in a day or two.
