Do you think its wrong to want to be friends with many guys?

no sex involved I don't want... just common friend..but its hard for me..if they know I like someone else they run away why? I don't inderstand...

they run away cause they are interested in you and that's why they are cool with just being friend cause they hope that when you want a boyfriend you will choose them. so be careful on who you choose as a friend.

Having many platonic male friends is absolutely fine - my closest friends are men - but it can become a problem if they are hoping for a little more from you than just friendship.

If you're clear that you want to be friends without the extras then you should be ok, but it sounds like the male friends you've had before have got jealous and run off at the first sight of any competition/rejection by you liking someone else.

Finding guy friends is the same as finding female friends - occassionally you just come across some one you 'click' with and it all falls into place. Don't try to force friendship and make sure that people know exactly what your intentions are before they get dissappointed.

I have always got on better with males than females and have far more male friends than female. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Some girls just arent girly girls and can relate to guys better.
I had the same problem with some guys thinking our friendship would become more than that.
I have learnt that it is a good strategy in the beginning of a freindship, with a male, to bring up the topic of how you get along much better with guys than girls but its difficult to find male friends that arent just after sex.
If they do a runner, they were going to anyway.
If they dont, you have found a true male friend that wants nothing but to be your friend.

It depends,,however i caution you not to be friends with so many guys,,you might get the impression that you are a flirt and slut,,maybe just keep the distant would be a good idea,,You cant find a serious boyfriend if you are always with a lot of guys,,And believe me,,sex one of the most important thing in the mind of guys..they think about having sex most of the time...

There is nothing wrong about it. But are you sure that it all these guys that really want to just be common friends? I will advise that you watch how you make these common friends.

I guess you have to let them know from the start that they are just friends and nothing more, usually guys tend to mistake friendhip and love thats why the aspect of jealousy comes in. Ma advise is its definately fine to have friends who are of opposite sex because you have too much to learn form them.

it sounds like you're pretty well put together and know what you want, so keep doing your thing and these guys will work themselves out sooner or later (just remember us males take a lot longer to mature, ok).

of course not! even i have a lot of friends who are guys.. some of them might even help you get the guy you like...it's a bit complicated but that happens.. sometimes other people think your trying to get all the guys (eg:- being a slut or ho ) but forget what other people think.. all that matters now is having " friends "
