i want to do something with my girlfriend this weekend that doesnt require a whole lota money and isnt the same old movie and dinner thing. I really want her to know that i care about her enough to switch things up a bit and do something different and romantic for a change. Keep in mind, we have been dating for 3 years now.

The best thing (to me) that would seem more romantic would be a walk in the park, though it may be too cold for that, but at least you would have more motivation to get a good conversation going. That would be a step towards a more serious relationship if that's where you are going.
