Yes, remember Mexico is the new Dixie of the 21st century its a plantation economy to the Untied States. We need to open are eyes up to China eats Mexico's beans for lunch, and Americas Frito dip along with it were left with no job to build goods. We give tax breaks to companies to go to China. NAFTA intent was to break us away from the dependence on China. Now, China is buying up distribution centers in Mexico and Untied States to sell more goods down are tho arts. We need honest debate about immigration or were stuck at the same problem 100 years from now. Do what you gotta do to fix it because China is gonna create the bigger headache on both Mexico and Untied States if we don't. Remember in China people are willing to work for 25 cents an hour try that in both countries. We need to work on both items with Mexico besides immigration. Tax reform in both countries needs to start period, and work that in with immigration changes. Civil Rights movements doesn't fly because the upper class Mexicans treat the Indians like Garbage worse than the Americans treat them. Nevertheless its a human rights issue needs to be resolved by both sides here.

Yes, it is brewing.
The only solution is to admit Mexico, as 16 individual states, into the union. This can solve both the immigration and social security problem.
Mexico is rich in natural resources that can be better exploited to enrich both sides.
Mexico is also more suited to raising sugar cane. That is a better source of ethanol than corn as it contains more energy per acre. The raising and distillation of sugar cane could provide enough income and jobs for Mexico to approach a US standard of living.
Lastly, Mexico has a great climate for retirees. Florida, Arizona, and California are getting too crowded.

Yet it appears that the government is keen to take a harder line on immigrants, rather than recognise the issues that are being raised here.

The illegals need to GO HOME! Legal Citizens will not let our country be taken over by illegals.

I think this could reach "civil war" proportions, to tell you the truth. Our government isn't listening to the people they work for regarding this issue.

I can see nothing but civil war unless these illegals head back south of the border.
Maybe send our leaders with them.
