Okay. Well, I'm looking for a specific list of how the US ranks in education (overall preferably both higher education and public though the one I'm talking about was just public I think)compared with the rest of the world for an essay I'm doing. I swear this list exists, I've read the damn thing before but now I don't seem to be able to find it. The essay is due tomorrow (yeah I know, but there were a few extra facts I needed in it), so I would be VERY appreciative if you wouldn't mind giving me an answer quickly, please. Along with this I would need a source (a website). Thank you so, so much!!!!

PS. Also another fact I need is how much a college graduate makes on average vs. how much a high school graduate makes on average.
if you happen to have either of these....Thank you again so much, you have no idea how grateful I am.

Here's a link to the report about the US's performance in 2003 between various countries:
http://nces.ed.gov/programs/quarterly/vol_6/6_4/2_2.asp

For the second question, per the 2000 US Census, these are median incomes for people with the following degrees:
Not a high school graduate: $21,332
High school graduate: $27,351
Some college: $31,988
Bachelor degree: $42,877
Advanced degree: $55,242

So a bachelor's degree nets you a median pay difference of $15,526/year. The average difference is about $23,000 (see the news story in sources).
