If the incision isn't weeping anymore, use Vit. E oil on it. It's the best stuff, better than neosporin. You can even start using it before the stitches come out! Take ibuprofen to keep swelling down. If the skin around the wound gets itchy, you know it's healing.

The vitaman E idea is really good. Particularly when it's concentrated in capsules. Witchazel and paw-paw ointment is also awsome for scarring as well as toning and generally making your skin look fabulous. Good luck.
