I am a Christian, I have been in Mosques, and had Muslim speakers in my church. My best Muslim friend has been to churches, and had Christian preachers at his Mosque.

I just read from a Muslim, that Christians are taught in church to hate Muslims. So here is my question - What faith are you, and what other faiths have you actually been in their holy place (temple, church, mosque, etc.). Not just read propaganda in books or on the net.

We Christians are not taught to "hate" anyone! However, we are taught the truth, which is, that Jesus is the Son of God. This guy they call mohammed never died on the cross for anyones sins! He is not of importance, but just another man who thinks he knows it all. If you are a real Chrisitan you will realize that when someone does not have Christ in their religion, they are called, you guessed it, an anti-Christ. We do not hate muslims, but we really don't like them trying to push this Islam off on us. I have seen on TBN where there are many muslims converting to Christianity. When you tell muslims this, they report you!

First time that I have ever heard of the word "muslim" was when 9/11 happen and its name was posted all over the news and other types of media. I've never met a muslim nor have I interacted with one on this site so for a muslim to say that a church taught me or any other Christians to hate is a sad and bad call. Hate filled generalizations only fuel the fire and brings forth more intolerance especially when some people view that statement as more of a reason to be intolerant towards other religions. God bless.

Yeah... I've heard preaches jamming the idea of hating Muslims several times.

I've never been to a church or a temple, and I don't think I ever want to be in one.

I'm proud of being a Muslim more than anything else, but I respect other religions only for the sake of what is in the Holy Quran, and the teachings of Muhammad (pbuh).

All that is in the media about Islam are nothing more than fake lies or ignorant over-exaggerating.

Learn to love, and to live in peace is my only piece of advice.

Good luck.

I have friends in different religions - Muslim too. I am a christian and I do not hate Muslims. It is wrong to hate anyone on this earth. God loves ALL people !!! The problem with religious hate starts when people want to be right - not righteous. The quest to be right promotes arguments, strife, rivalries, divisions among people and hate. Hate turns into murder. In Christianity, I've learned that no one church or faith has the monopoly on God or Jesus. God works with and wherever He chooses - with out our permission. There are Christians in every church or faith common to Christianity. All genuine, converted Christians are obligated to express the love of God or Jesus to all men [women] on this earth ! Any christian, who professes to love others and hates Muslims - IS WRONG - BIG time !!! Love Your Neighbour AS Your SELF !!!

I'm a Muslim and I've been invited to churches and listened to our Shaikh speak as a guest speaker. I don't believe all churches teach hatred towards Muslims. I believe some do, as I've heard them on those TV churches say some terrible lies about Muslims and Islam, especially Pat Robertson and some others. But I would like to think most churches teach tolerance towards Muslims and all faiths... at least I hope they do! peace

Any muslim that teach his fellow muslim to hate christians and jews are going against the Quran. The Quran teaches that they are all People of the Book(God's eternal message). They are commanded to be tolerant towards jews and christians.

PS: all those verses that christians and Jews use to hate on muslims are for war circumstances and to defend yourselves if you are wronged against.
