First of all, when exactly did you have the ligation done? It is common for some bleeding around the incision area. If the bleeding is constant or excessive, chances are you tore open your stitches. Cover it with some gauze and keep an eye on it. Call your local ER nurse if the bleeding becomes severe, or just wait and contact your doctor's office in the morning.

If it's just bleeding (not pus) and not a whole lot, I think you're safe to wait. Call and ask them in the morning, they may not even need to see you. It could also stop by morning. And if you take aspirin for any reason, stop. That interferes with clotting.

i'm not a doctor or anything but if it is just oozing i wouldn't worry about it.. if it's alot like you have to change bandages every once in a while i'd definately go to the ER... but if it's not bleeding alot i wouldn't worry so much.. just keep gauze on it... .. :-D

What the hell are you doing on your computer at 2am if you've just had your tubes tied?? If its bleeding and youre concerned call the emergency rooms and they should advise you what to do.
