My daughter and I use, Elidel. It is a prescription cream that you just rub on a tiny bit. It really dries the area and stops the itching. It is expensive but one tub is not even 1/2 used in the 2 years or more that we've had it. Ask your doctor about it. I'm glad we did.

I have eczema, and I've just treated it mainly by using lotions and just letting it work out on its own. Mine isn't too bad though and just goes away after a while, then comes back. I would first try seeing a dermatologist or doctor and finding some things to try without medications first, as side effects from the medications could be much worse than the eczema.

Hi,

I had some friends who got rid of their eczema through a detox.

Most of them detoxed for long periods and focused on using health foods tat were beneficial for the liver during detox.

Some who were sensitive to external allergens like the chlorine in the water they used also started using filtered water for drinking and bathing purposes to speed up the recovery process.
