Thats one thing that saddens me about the Islamic faith.....They put God in a box and decide what he can and cannot do. You claim that he could not have a son (ie Jesus Christ)..... under what authority do you propose to tell God what he can and what he cannnot do?
May you come to realize friend.... that THE God of all creation has authority to do anything he chooses to do and does not need mans permisson nor understanding to do so.
I have used my brain..... I have used it enough to realize that I cannot lean on my own understanding as the word of God tells me not to do. But to trust in Him that does know far more than I can even begin to wrap my mind around.
Matthew 23:9 And call no [man] your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
PS: Muslims claim that they recognize Jesus as a prophet of God..... the words quoted in Matthew are his words.... either we are to know God as our Father..... or he is lying ..... which will Islam agree to ... to follow his words which tell us that God in heaven is our Father..... or denounce his words because they dont fit with what you "want" to believe?

God is like Abraham. We are like Isaac. He places us upon the altar of earth, raises his weapon high, and we faithfully wait for his will to be done. Now, at the end of these times is the moment just before mercy is granted. To us, like to Isaac, it seems as though all is lost. But we must have faith in our heavenly father, that his plan for us will result in the greatest good, and that our salvation can only be achieved through obedience to him. In that way God is our father.
Pretty good answer for an atheist, huh.

Father God is the only father I have ever known. My biological sperm donor left before I was born so I sometimes refer to Father God as my Daddy. My Savior, Jesus told us in scripture to say Our Father. I believe Him not you.
