First of all I sell Mary Kay, so I'll plug it, but I also have some other tips! I agree w/ the person earlier (sorry I can't remember your name!) but Mary Kay's eyeliner is smudge proof, I've never had a problem w/ it. But if you have oily skin, it may be what's causing your eye makeup to smudge (do you have a problem w/ smudging mascara also?) try washing around your eyelashes and eyelids with baby shampoo before applying anything then pat your eye area dry (don't wipe, it stretches out the skin!), it seems to take the oil off and help your eye make up to not smear. If your makeup is starting to "melt" you do have an oil problem, but you probably didn't need me to tell you that! Try finding a moisturizer that is oil free, first of all. Mary Kay also makes an oil mattifier, and "Beauty Blotters" they look like tissue paper, but it's actually made of a linen material, and when you use it through out the day, it helps absorb extra oil and keep your makeup fresh! And if you use powder foundation and your skin is oily, it does tend to melt, try a creamy foundation that dries to a powder finish (Mary Kay makes a creme to powder foundation that is wonderful! Great coverage!) If you have any questions, I'd be happy to answer or hook you up w/ samples! Drop me a line ~ abslu@marykay.com

before you put eyeliner on you should sweep your lids with a powder so the liner has something to grab on to. if that doesn't help then try waterproof eyeliner. I personally love eyeliner and so far the best one I've found is by Chanel... it costs about 15-20 dollars but it's worth it =)

alright try some make-up primer and make sure your face is clean before applying anything. and reverse eyeliner from duwhop [spelling?] should do the trick for running eyeliner. i suggest black fliud line from MAC and get an angle brush to apply it. it stays on all day and doesn't run what so ever.

you should try the Mary Kay line of eyeliner because it's waterproof and smudge-proof :) another plus, it can be twisted up, so you never need a sharpener!
