well excuse my ramblin people but im really bored and just want to know if you guys know the real legal way, many of you say that illegals should come here the legal way, but...what is the legal way do any of you know?

well i mean yes there are legal ways but the thing is there arent many. the most common way of coming here the "legal way" is through a turist visa, but even with that you just a tourist and you cant apply for school , work nor get a drives license and you cant get become a resident by just having a tourist visa, even staying here with a tourists visa for more than a year is a crime, then there are the other ways such as work visas but those are limited to certain people. the point is that work visas are not available to everyone who just wants to come here and work, and you cant get residency unless your parents are US citizens or residentsm, get married to an American or you are a nurse or have a degree in the field of medicine.

im just going to finish where i left off...

as i was saying there is no real way to become a legal US resident unless u fullfill those areas, and if you think im making thisn up go look for yourself at the Us Imigration webside it gives a list of ways and you will find that about half of them are only temporary visas that not everyone especially the poor in a 3rd world country can get, so the solution to this problem is to create more working visas, that are available to everyone who wants to work here and who passes a background check and if they want to be residents they can apply after a certain ammoutn of time, as for the millions of ilelgals living here just give them the damn residence and stop whining about it and deal with it because wheather you like it or not that is what is most liklely going to happend.

yes working visas are available i never said they werent but tehre is a lack of them which is why we have a border problem with illegal immigration if it was soo easy to get in teh US then everyone would be able to be here, and not to mention they are not as cheap as hell i know of someone close to me who might wait 5 years just to get accepted and antoher 5 years to get their status fixed to legal resident and in beetween those years they are still bulnarable to been deported the system is broken and if some of ou cant admit to that then you are plain blind and cant see the real problem if you cant admit that the immigration policy is slowwer than a turtle then damn.. i dont knwo whats wrong with you. look my whole arguemnt and question is what is the legal way ?and is there even a legal way?

It depends on why you want to come here. If you are on a tourist visa, why would you want to go to work or school unless you are planning to overstay your visa. That's not something tourists do. Get my point? If you are a certain kind of worker(say a nurse for example) and want to work in the US, it's much easier because we need them so badly. Work visas are capped based on the amount of said worker that we actually need. Why would we take more than what we need, that would be stupid.
If you will please go back in time to 1965, when our immigration
process was reformed to favor families being reunited instead of the national origins system. This means for the past thirty years the immigration system in the U.S favors Latin America and Asia.
In fact, Mexicans get over 60% of the yearly total of immigration in the U.S(even thought they are supposed to only be allowed 40%). And yet, this same country contributes to 57% of our illegal population AND are usually the ones that say it is too hard to come legally. How ironic.
There is a legal way, and it is just fine- I have had family members go through it(and they waited years to do it, in spite of being highly educated, fluent in English, and familial ties to the states- it's a shame they weren't born illiterate and without skill, because according to people like you that's what this country needs more of). They applied for the correct visa(since some of them just wanted to come see family or study here), their overstay risk was determined, it was determined that they had a place to live and a school to go to if that is why they were here,
it was determined they had money to support themselves while in this country, they were given physicals and complete background check with fingerprinting, work history/education was established. By the time they were done, the US government probably knew the last time they sneezed. but, if you think about it, those are things that we should know about(criminal history, contagious disease).
And apparently it's not too hard to abuse the process, because it's estimated 1 in 3 religious visas are fraud and most of the 9/11 hijackers applications should have been denied(and you can access them online to see the problems with them if you look).

Regardless of whether the "legal way" is hard, we have the right as a sovereign country, to decide who can come in and who can't, and if someone applying does not qualify under our laws, then they need to understand that "No means NO." They need to go elsewhere, where they CAN qualify. We are not responsible for the poor of the world and if poor people cannot get an education in their own country so that they can qualify to immigrate to the USA, then that is the fault of THEIR country, NOT the fault of the USA! Being told that you do not qualify does not mean that you should now just come on in, anyways! If you knock on someone's door and ask if you can come in, if they tell you "no," do you just barge on in, anyways? If so, then you are a rude person and even more so, not wanted! Why would you want to go where you are so obviously NOT WANTED?

I understand that the immigration rules of the USA may need to be updated to fill our need for workers, but until that is done, please obey our laws! What illegal immigrants are doing is basically the same thing as "breaking and entering." It is also basically "stealing." Because, when they come into the USA illegally, they steal from the citizens of the USA by working under the table and by using fraudulent ID. They are NOT paying their fair share into the social systems that they are using. Even driving on our roads - what do you think pays for the roads and their upkeep? Even walking down the sidewalks - how do you think those sidewalks are paid for? The schools illegal immigrant children use, hospitals, etc. TAXES - taxes on income, which MOST illegal immigrants DO NOT pay and the only way they are paying them is by working using fraudulent ID! Sales taxes do NOT cover all the costs of living in the USA, so don't tell me about the taxes illegals pay every time they buy something! Not good enough! Legal residents pay sales taxes AND INCOME TAXES! And, also don't tell me about the Social Security illegals pay into when using their FRAUDULENT ID for employment, even though they will never get to collect social security - cry me a river about that - it is STILL not enough, and they are committing more federal crimes by using that fraudulent ID.

Enough said.

As others explained above, pretty need a Phd, or medical degree to get a visa or a realative. The work visa system is broken totally its has no mechanism to satisfly the job market. The immigration by family think should probadly be more resrictive, and work visas opened up a bit. Austrailan immigration scheme is easier to follow on the internet than the American setup. Points system setup for America is needed and probadly allowing unskilled workers from Mexico and limted set of countries in to work in Untied States for 2 years at a time with rewnweable visa for up to 10 years. After that apply for citizenship or go home, and reapply 5 years later. Citizenship should be based on English speaking Ability, knowledge of American Values, and understand of the bill of rights. The present system is broken and demand and supply are out of balance with Family perfernce getting unfair advantage over people wanting to work that needs to change more. Requirement for a work visa.
1) Born citizen from English speaking , or NAFTA countries.
2) Bond for nonjobholders of $8000 dollars for 3 months, or job offer thru a job skill match.
3) Character, Health assesments.
4) Conviction for felonies will automatically bar for consideration. 5) Outside those countries, investment worth $200,000 dollars and create 20 jobs for Americans, or MA Phd, or medical professional. 6) Banned from poltical actitvity, and will not be allowed goverment services at the expense during the stay. Borrow ideas from the Mexican immigration, and Austrailan, and ecomonics got a work visa.
6) Family member will not be allowed for the first 2 years of a work visa to live with the person.
7) Visa renewal require wages that are 120% above the offical goverment poverty line, and no criminal conviction resulting in prison time.
8) loss of job will require the person within 30 days to look for a job, or they will be removed from the country.

You Stated

"well i mean yes there are legal ways but the thing is there arent many."

Yes There Are RULES, REGULATIONS And LAWS
That One Must Follow In Order To Enter Our Nation

The RULES Ans LAWS Are In Place For Various Reasons
Namely To REGULATE The AMOUNT Of People
Coming To The USA From Each Nation In The World

Without RULES, REGULATIONS And LAWS
The Nation Would Be In ANARCHY
Which Is Unacceptable

The US Is A Nation Of Laws
And Law Abiding CITIZENS DEMAND
That Our Laws Be Followed

WE THE PEOPLE REFUSE To Allow
An Unchecked INVASION Of Our Nation By ANARCHISTS

We have limits on immigration of poor people because poor people will never make enough money to pay enough in taxes to cover even education of their children, much less for other services poor people use. 'Come legally' includes the concept of respecting our limits on how many we are willing to pay for from other countries. Sometimes the answer is no. Spreading our education funds and limited school space over 12 to 20 million illegals is ruining education for our own children.

What right have they to do that, particularly when WE are the ones footing the bill?

I know A LOT of people who had no problem getting work visas. As far as letting them expire and not developing a residence, credit record, and legal job, that is the fault of the person. They have plenty of time to get the ball rolling. They may have to wait for citizenship, but their visas will be renewed with all paperwork on their residence, job, etc and keeping references. They may "look" as if they are such hard workers, but they are usually too lazy to do those things.

There are working visas. Most just require company sponsorhip. And there are quotas on max number of immigrants per county.

The core idea is that there are laws, and people should be following the laws rather than breaking them. Sadly, that only seems to apply if we don't like the people breaking the laws. Where the illegal activity is something the majority wants, most people don't have a problem with it. That sort of hypocrisy is the core of the current problem.

The person wishing to immigrate must have a sponsor in this country who has saved a predetermined amount of money considered sufficient to support them before they become residents with jobs of their own. Sponsors can be anyone, but are usually family members... that is, when one family member has emigrated, they will save money to sponsor additional family members bringing them one at a time to this country.
