If you don't have a blender, which I find actually works better than a food processor, do this. Make sure the bread is good and dried, if you have a gas oven lay the slices on the oven rack with the door open a little bit. Then I stick about 4 slices in a plastic shopping, flat on the table. And then I run over again and again till its all crumbly, the size you want. If you have to, work the crumbs through a sieve. I still have to do this step with a food processor, cause I just can't usually get the fineness I want otherwise.

If you need 'fresh' breadcrumbs, just grate a slice of bread using a cheese grater. If you want dried crumbs, just dry them in a oven (at a low temperature) or put the crumbs on some kitchen roll and dry them in a microwave oven.

The most natural and healthy diet for humans is an omnivorous diet, and not a plant based diet, or a meat-based diet per se. The Paleo Diet can be very widely varied and omnivorous for the most part, but the most important thing is that it’s unprocessed, and avoids the worst foods that agriculture brought mankind… refined inflammatory vegetable oils, refined grains (some are worse than others), and sugar! As you can see, the benefits of adopting a Paleo way of eating can be incredible! I’ve been eating 95% Paleo for the last 5-6 years and I’ve never felt better. I have dozens of friends that have adopted a more Paleo way of eating too, and have seen all sorts of health problems disappear, including eliminating acne and other skin problems, digestion problems, improving brain clarity, and of course, losing a lot of body fat!

Let it go stale and hard first (that's the best type of bread to use in breadcrumbs anyway) then use a grater!!

Lay slices of bread on a baking tray and cook in the oven till brown. Cool. Place in a paper bag and crush with your hand or a rolling pin. When cold you can save in a jar for future use.

The old fashioned way. Sloowly bake your slices of bread in an oven, and when they are as hard and dry as that French bread stuff, let them cool down. Once that's happened, wrap a slice or two in a clean dish cloth and batter them with a rolling pin or mallett. Viola, bread crumbs!

place the bread in a ziploc bag, roll over several times with a rolling pin, really dry bread does equally well using a pestle & mortar, seive if there are bigger bits left with the crumbs .
