They don't believe in God? Do you stray from them after that?

Why should it? Especially if you are Christian. Our religion says that we should be a light for the world, bringing people to Christ. What kind of light are you if you just stop hanging around that person? You should be strong enough in your faith to handle the situation and talk to them about God.

Also: it isnt hard to be friends with someone who has different beliefs. If you let people go that easily the only people you will be around are people exactly like you. Differences are GOOD, not bad.

I know too many people that don't believe in God to become uncomfortable around them. I may wonder what in the world makes them think that. Well, I don't have to wonder, it's this post-modern mentality that allows for a world without a creator. It's not surprising to me that alot of people will start thinking like this, because I think that most people who exist are dumb as sheep and will be swayed by anything that sounds good. I would not make it a priority to spend much time with the person after discovering this.

No it doesn't make me uncomfortable, I would just pray extra hard for them and try not to bring the subject up around them.. I'm creeped out by people like that so be careful.. They may just be angry with GOD for someone in their past who died or something traumatic that happened that they felt GOD could of changed.. Who knows...If it's a guy I definately wouldn't have any type of intimate relationship with him it,we would strictly be JUST FRIENDS !!!

no it doesnt my friend does not belive in him i just try to explain it to him and if he still does not then i just leave it be and pray for him. I am still there friend they are still the same person that i liked b4 nothing changes just bc they have different opions then me. him not beliveing would want me to become closer bc then he can see the light of Jesus in me and bc i show this he might want to become a saved person. God brings people in your life for a reason just keep being there for your friend and pray for him/her and show the best you can the light of the lord and plant the seed and let God grow it.
GOOD LUCK

It used to, but not anymore. I had to directly work with someone that constantly made fun of me for believing and telling me that this mystery person that religions take advantage of just to get your money...it went on and on..so I have now took it that it's their opinion.

Everybody is entitled to their own opinions. I won't stray from them but I would appreciate if they do not expect me to share the same opinion.

I respect other people's beliefs as long as they respect mine. If there's no respect then I move on. If it's a potential serious relationship, then he would have to believe in God.

It makes me sad, but it also gives me the opportunity to spread God's wonderful Word. It makes me feel like God placed them in my life for a special reason, and I might just be the person to help them form a relationship with Jesus Christ! :)
