Unearthing - Free Will, Destiny & Fate -
With energy I have always felt we control it to a certain extent.
A theory I started working on myself was fate, destiny and where this leads us.
As a younger woman I found myself in a situation where no matter how I tried to change it ..
I kept finding myself on the same path. I didnt know where this path would end only a feeling that this was bad.
And I needed to change it or else. (yes death).
Many years after this accident, I went though a lot of thoughts, experiences and different energies.
I started wondering about our free will and how we sometimes find ourselves in a spiral path or just a path that we cant change, to the end fate.
So to explain this a little better..
I feel we all have free will. We have the choice to choose anything and everything.
So we get to choose something. lets say a new puppy.. (for example).
We put the energy into motion.. Thoughts, feelings, excitement,

everything flows out on how this new puppy will be with us make us feel how we will enjoy it.. or how we wont enjoy all the things like toilet training.
All this is energy that flows out from our free will choice.
In a way I feel this gives spark , life or energy to Destiny.
So we have started to set out on that one simple path..
This path we can continue down where we come to destiny.
We still have control over which way we can go, like we can either follow destiny or turn away from it.
(So back to the puppy). You notice a new pet shop and decide to go inside (free will)
or you notice a sign on the edge of the street saying puppies for sale. (free will).
These signs are parts of destiny, once you have made your choice of puppy, you will be on your way to fate.
(destiny is just like the voice in your head that says don?down that street go the long way around this time)
This is destiny, for you to freely choose.. Once the choice is made then I feel your on the

path to fate.
Fate is the Consequences of your choice from which destiny put to you.
Once you have gone from free will to Destiny then onto fate, I feel at this time in the path, you find that you cant divert from that path to the end.
By saying the end I dont mean the end of time or death, just the end of that choice.
We make hundreds of choices every day, some might last a life time others might last a second.
So Its a constant flow of endings that are happening right now as well as beginnings.
But on that note.. I totally believe you can bump / nudge that Fate path to divert it a little.
I found no matter how much you want to change it keeps going back to the end Fate, But I feel you can change it a little, just enough to change a small thing.
I know some might not understand what Im saying fully.
But let me know what you think.
Blessings

I see what you are talking about in your ideas.
This is my view:
There are many arguments for this topic.
Some would say that Free Will is just free will, and it leads to fate.
Others could say that Free Will is not really free will; in fact, it is actually something determined by fate, but one would think that this act of free will was free where, where in fact, they were already destined by fate to choose that action.
And then others would say there are many paths of fate or destiny and that free will allows one to chose which path to choose.
I have thought hard about this subject, and because I am a Christian, I believe that we have free will because God allows us to and this is why we are all sinful.
Can we even be sure that something such as free will or destiny is feasible? Is it real? The only thing know is, that can be fathomed, is Free Will. We think we have free will everyday.
If fate and destiny exist, free will is most certainly a part of it, yet, if fate does exist, free will is not free will any longer. Instead, it is actually fate that they choose to do whatever they choose to do in that moment of so-called "Free Will"
hope you kinda understood what I mean :)

There isn't anything wrong with asking a Christian this question. It's a good question . I believe in Gods permissive will . I don't believe that everything that we do as Christians is fate . For instance I don't believe that if a woman marries an abuser that God planned it, but His permissive will will let it happen . Because of the free choice factor . There is no way I will ever believe that God wants a woman to marry an abuser ,or a thief , or etc . because the Bible gives a clear listing of who we need to stay away from in II Timothy . The Bible states His will , and we have our own . But because of God's nature , He will take what we do against His plan and use it for our good . We know that all things work together for good to those who love God and are called according to His purposes . Our pre- destination , or destiny are : to be conformed to the image of His Son . To be adopted into His family. and some others which escape me at the moment . ( sorry) And the reason it's a pre-destination is because everyone is destined to it when they accept Jesus . How our life goes all depends on faith . I get a little frustrated when I read people say that everything that happens is God's will when actually it is often unbelief . The book of James says don't think you can expect anything from God without faith .

Do you remember the song "Closing Time" where some ones beginning is another beginnings end? I too believe in free will, but if I do believe in free will I have to believe I can make a change. Destiny and fate are what we make it. Extrication of whatever it is that is holding you from achieving this however is your own strength, power, want and need to change. I am a survivor also. Why? I don't know maybe my heart isn't finished here on earth yet????

I have always felt that if we find ourselves on a certain path or if, for example, we continue to face the same problems throughout life, it may be that we just havent learned our lesson we are meant to learn. So life (or god, or the universe, or whatever) continues to give you a chance to learn it again and again and again. One example is that my mother was continually finding herself in a financial rut where she had to meet a deadline and it was immensley important. She kept asking 'why?' Many close friends would offer to help her out until she can pay them back. But my mom was divorced and had something to prove! So I believe that the lesson she refuses or is unable to learn in this life is to accept help from others. Im not sure if this relates to your particular situation, but I feel it is valuable and goes along the lines of free will vs. fate. Fate plans the lessons we have to learn and free will decides whether or not we are able to learn it.

In principle, one could calculate a response to a situation by knowing all the data then present as well as all the information acquired over an entire lifetime. In practice, this is obviously impossible, and a free will model works well toward understanding why people and other organisms act as they do.

Sure, let's start out with the premise that you have the free will to get the puppy you want. The puppy has no free will, and if you don't select that puppy, so what, it never knew you anyway. But the one that you select goes home with you and enjoys a wonderful relationship with its owner.
ALD, the puppy is you.

Thoughts, feelings and excitement is a trick from the enemy. They can fool you. We walk by faith alone.
