I come up with some quick retorts, but I have to be careful - sometimes I get carried away and cut my tongue on my razor-sharp wit.

Normally things off the top of my head..
Unfortunately that could mean i put my foot in my mouth now and then..

Or because as i have been told, that my brutal honestly of saying something that is right in front of me, sometimes offends.
I do try and curve it for the sensitive type.
But i also try and stay true to me.

I can take an awful lot..infact some of the sparring can be quite fun...but if your sarcasm stings me too deeply..I'll sting back..

I can take a lot but will dish it back with surprising speed and charm, and I never take anything back as I mean something when I say it.

I would try and walk away. If I was then cornered, I would have to inform the person that I do not appreciate such coarse comments. (When answering your post, I visualized this in a work environment. Your situation may be different)
