I am sick and tired of instant noodles. Eating out is getting lame and a waste of money. The only thing I know how to cook are sphagetti and pastas as well as heating Campbell's soups. I need easy recipes for a variety of home-cooked food. By the way, I have a frigde, a pot and a rice-cooker with me.

Okay, I got this one. I, too, am a college student. I know this is lame, but there's always the old faithful quesadilla. An\y meat leftovers are great in them, and even though it's not authentic, you can make them in the microwave. Ingredients: two flour tortillas 1/2 cup cheese meat (cooked, optional) I think you know where to go from there, but then again, i'm in the southwest. The best one, I think, is to make stovetop in the pot, and while it's cooking, flatten out a chicken breast between 2 pieces of plastic wrap, then cook it in a little oil in a pan. since it's thin, it'll cook in about 2 minutes, and you can add any flavor to the chicken you want. When that's done, pull it off, let it sit on 2 pieces of paper towel, and slice up some lettuce. Slice a lemon in half, squeeze one half into an empty bottle, pour in just as much oil in it, add salt and pepper, and shake. pour over salad. This whole thing is done in maybe 15 minutes (for me, at least), and only costs about 8 dollars, and you'll always have leftovers for tomorrow. CHILI this one's the best. It takes a while, but it can be frozen, and lasts forever. 1 large can crushed tomatoes 1 large can diced tomatoes 1 can kidney beans 1 lb ground beef (chicken, turkey, pork, all work) 1/2 onion, diced 1 tsp cumin salt & pepper to taste cook ground meat until pretty browned, then add diced onions. Add all the tomatoes to the biggest pot/deep pan you think it'll hold, and add beans. Add meat, onions, cumin and s&p. cook for about 1/2 an hour (perfect time to study) on medium-low after you've simmered it for about 10 minutes. it's best served with sour cream and shredded cheese on top. This should last for about a week in the fridge, and about 3 weeks in the freezer.

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular "fad" diets out there. Go here https://bitly.im/aMDLH

The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it's just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it's a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true

I would suggest purchasing a Rachel Ray cookbook. Her recipes are quick and easy but never dull. Try to catch her morning show on NBC or her '30 Minute Meals' show on the Food Network for ideas. All the TV show recipes will be found online, also.

1. Pasta with pesto (you can buy great pesto in any local store, in LA I found it at Trader Joes for less than $2. You just heat up the sauce with a spoon of olive oil in the pan and then you throw in the cooked pasta. Stir and serve!

2. Pasta with shrimps and zucchini. You'll need: onion, shrimps, zucchini, crushed tomato sauce, olive oil, salt, pasta. (This is for 1 person since you only mentioned your self)

Cut a zucchini in little slices, but not too thin or they'll get too soft. Chop 1/4 of an onion in tiny pieces. In a pan heat up 3 spoons of extra virgin olive oil, and add the onion, stirring occasionally so that it won't burn. Add a handful of shrimps (I use the frozen ones, they're cheap and still good), zucchini and tomato sauce (I put about 3-4 spoons, it's just for taste and coloring). Add a pinch of salt. Let cook for about 15 minutes. Add the pasta in the pan, stir well and there you go!

3. Chicken marsala with mushrooms

You'll need chicken breast, olive oil, marsala or any sweet wine, salt, flour, mushrooms (if you like it otherwise it's fine without as well)

Pick chicken breast that are thin, it will be easier to cook it. Cover it slightly (slightly!!!) in flour. In the meanwhile heat up the extra virgin olive oil (3 table spoons) in a pan that won't stick. Add the chicken, and a nice splash of marsala. Cook (medium-slow flame) 4-5 minutes each side until the wine has evaporated and the chicken is slightly golden. The wine and flour mix will create a layer of sauce. If you like the mushrooms in this recipe cook in another pan with olive oil and a clove of garlic, salt and pepper then add them to the chicken for the last 4 minutes of cooking time. It's really easy and tastes great! (A french baguette always works with this dish).

4. Bruschetta (which is pronounced brusketta)
You'll need bread, red tomatoes, salt, pepper, garlic and extra virgin olive oil.
Get a french baguette or any thick bread that you like (but not toast bread, it won't hold the tomatoes once it's toasted).
Cut the tomatoes in small chunks and put them in a bowl. Add olive oil (this is great if you invest in good olive oil. Bertolli worked for me), salt, pepper if you wish and a clove of garlic cut in super tiny pieces. Stir well so that tomatoes pick up the taste of the other ingredients. In the meanwhile, grab a clove and spread it on the slices of bread to give it a hint of garlic taste. Put the clove aside and put the bread in the oven. When it's crunchy, take it out, add the tomatoes on top, if you want a basil leaf and enjoy.

When my mom was in a hurry she always cooked rice&weenies.
how you ask, seeing how you have a rice cooker, just cut-up your hotdogs to the size you want, and cook them with your rice, when the rice is done add a small can of diced tomatoes add salt&pepper. you get your starch, your meat, and your veggies.
She also made rice with cream of chicken soup, just cook your rice then add your soup salt&pepper then add water till you get the consistency you want. And before you know it you'll be tired of rice.
