Religeon is an organized group with the same beliefs. there is usually some sort of "higher power" and a set of rules to follow.
Faith is when you actually believe in something. People can be religeous and not have faith... they may just go to church on sunday or read the bible out of habit, but may never really have faith in when they read/hear.
I am not a religeous person. I'm too stubborn and my mind is too logic based... prove it to me and i'll believe it type. I do have faith in myself though. I believe that I have the power to accomplish whatever I want, and everything I have accomplished so far is because I fought for it.

Although I cannot fully answer the first part of your question, the difference between religion and faith, I can say I DO have both....I was raised a Christian, but after adulthood set in I found I was interested and related with MANY different religions....but at the same time I still have FAITH in GOD??.....I am a very spiritual person, yet very open minded that there are many "faiths" and religions....take your pick, I think as long as we focus on the main thing, which is the higher power in any religion, then that is what faith actually is.....I am no certain religion now, althought I do identify with Wiccanism a whole lot too....religion is a touchy subject!!

Simply put...

Religion: the rules

Faith: the belief

A person can have beliefs (show faith in something) without the rules of religion to guide them, or can follow those rules (of any religion) without actually having the faith those rules were based on.

Well, religions involve ceremonies, creeds and a big list of what to do and what not to do.

Faith on the other hand is believing in something that you can't see or touch.

To be part of a religion is easy, but to have faith, you have to put your heart into it. Whatever "It" is.

Religion can be formal dogma and doctrine which is used in the worship of a chosen entity or entities which can be called gods or God. Faith is the inward belief in the truth of said dogma and doctrine. My faith in Father God because of Jesus Christ is a fact. I cannot speak for anyone else.

Faith is believing something you know can't possibly be true, and religion is there to tell you why you should have faith.
