There certainly have been a lot of sightings in the worlds. Any stories anyone? (real ones)

I believe in ghostly events. Having witnessed 5 events personally and watched my daughter holding a conversation with my mother after my mother had died. As I have told of one of my experiences in a Wiltshire pub previously I will not re-tell that one, however I will share these 2 with you.

Some years ago, whilst working as a Security Supervisor at a Retail Outlet my colleague started out on his patrol. As he wandered sown the mall he shouted back to me, "look at the clock". The clock he was referring to was an old railway platform clock that had been restored and worked fine. The hands on the clock were spinning furiously in different directions, they continued to do so for about 10 minutes then they stopped at the correct time and kept time for the remainder of the shift. (The whole thing was recorded on CCTV as we knew no-one would believe us).

At the same venue, I observed a man wearing a burgundy waistcoat walk into a children's playing area and towards some glass doors linking two of the malls. These doors were locked, the fire exits to the left of the doors were secured by plastic seals and the only way back out would have been to return the same way as he had entered. Back through the children's playing area and along the concourse. Once again all the CCTV cameras in that area (there was 3) were pointing at this man who would be about 50-55 years old, quite a portly figure wearing a burgundy waistcoat and white shirt (please bear in mind that it was in the early hours of the morning and quite cold). When my colleague went to investigate the man was no where to be seen. He checked the fire exits and all seals were intact, all the mall doors were locked. The only way that he could have gone was back through the playing area. After the shift we pulled the CCTV tapes and you could follow this man's steps all the way up to the mall doors, where he goes out of sight behind a brick pillar, then moments later my colleague arrives at the location to find no-one there.

(The outlet is a regenerated Railway building - could it have been an old station master?)

There will always be some people who do not believe - but I have seen too much to believe there is nothing after this life for us.

When I was growing up, I lived in a house that was haunted, I have seen her. She has long blond hair, and wearing a long white dress (like an antique wedding gown).

We would hear footsteps up and down the stairs that led from the living room to the bedrooms upstairs. We would see heavy boxes lift up and set back down. We would see dishes fly across the kitchen even though no one was out there. My dad would hear someone crying down in the cellar, although there was no one down there. But the real clincher was when I would have a nightmare, I would feel a comforting hand on my shoulder, but everyone else was in their own beds.

I have had numerous experiences, including seeing my nan the moment she died, she appeared in my office looking at me across the filing cabinets! this was rather unnerving as a) she was in hospital 40 miles away and b) she was standing and hadn't been able to do that for about 6 years! sometimes even now, 12 years later, i smell her perfume and know she's dropped by to check on us!

I also use to work in a very old country house hotel which was haunted, shadowy figures in the dining room, noises of people when the places was empty.

I have many other stories too but none as special to me as Nan popping in to say goodbye!

Not sure, when my little one was young she had a lengthy conversation in a stately home with an invisible person. She was too young too know what ghosts or spirits were at the time. She described as best she could and he had funny clothes and a funny hat on!!! So I'm not too sure

i have many, but storeys shouldn't be held as evidence. neither should belief.
as a person ages their believes change. usually the first to suffer is poor old Santa. followed close behind by god, ghosts and then government.

remember this though: we all believe in different things and they are always changing. so what we believe neither proves nor disproves anything.
what we need therefor is good old fashioned evidence. so get out there and happy ghost hunting !

No, but I know a lot of people who are sensible and sane who have, I believe that some people have that extra sense which allows them to see things. I think I would like to see one, but would properly have a fit with fright if I did.

i had a flat in 1999, it was haunted by a poltegeist, i don't expect you to believe me , but when i've got more than 3 witnesses to confirm me being thrown down my stairs and throwing stuff around, i cant exactly doubt what happened myself, then for 3 priests to come out and confirm pure evil and nothing could be done about it, that is scary sh*t!

My sister see's them regularly. A lot of times it's a woman sitting at the end of her or her sons bed. Sometimes while they're in it. She said some mean ones have tried to come thru but she stays calm and says that they are not welcome in her home and that she never gave permission for them to contact her.

yes, there are what we term as ghosts that do exist, as many have witnessed, felt/seen/heard etc..they are people who have existed on this planet at some point and most would like to come back to complete something and get stuck here so get upset and sometimes angry, they need our help, pray for them.
