You probably should hang around the golf courses and art shows, take note of who has money and who seems like they might throw a little your way.

Also, hit up the Liberal newspapers with adverts for your charity. First get an account, get registered with the state if you have to, better to get some bone fides. Some states like Georgia or New York require that you register as a legitimate charity. You'll have to have clear and solid accounting practicies, transparency in your bookkeeping, and always always be honest.

The Salvation Army in Nashville and the Feed the Children org. in Nashville. The is also a community food bank in Nashville which is associated with Channel 5. Finding money is another matter. You would have to be a registered charity to solicite and no one will do that without credentials.
