I agree with flipside. B vitamins make my dreams too vivid and intense to handle. It almost works like a recreational drug for me.

The only dream-enhancing food I'm aware of is meat right before bed. Whenever I eat something with meat less than an hour before I go to bed, I have nightmares. Someone told me that it's because meat is harder to digest, and so nightmares are your body's natural reaction to it. Either way, it's no fun, but I'm too much of a midnight snacker to stop.

You do dream even if you do not remember them.
What you need is something that hinders your sleep some so you wake when dreaming to remember that you had a dream.

the best thing to do is take a b-complex vitamin. Green tea also helps. People dream whenever they sleep, but b vitamins will increase your recall
